Plant-Grown Lactoferrin
Two forms. One platform.

WHY PLANT-GROWN LACTOFERRIN?
Bovine lactoferrin is constrained by dairy supply chains, seasonal variability, and approximately 20% iron saturation. Our plant-grown lactoferrin removes all three limitations. Produced through molecular farming in soybeans, it reaches over 60% iron saturation while eliminating animal-derived contamination risk. Two forms available: iron-loaded for bioavailability applications, iron-depleted for maximum antimicrobial activity.

Form 1
Natively 3× to 4x iron-loaded for enhanced bioavailability, iron support, and skincare applications.
KEY Differentiator
>60%
IRON SATURATION
3-4x
Higher Iron Saturation Compared to Traditional Bovine Lactoferrin
+
more iron per unit of protein
=
stronger iron support at equal inclusion levels
Antimicrobial
Promotes growth of beneficial probiotic strains. Selectively inhibits specific microbial pathogens.
Wound Healing/Skincare
Functions as a growth factor, stimulating skin cell proliferation. Iron binding induces a closed, compact conformation that enhances structural stability and its ability to support cell growth and survival.
Iron Absorption
Offers iron in a bioavailable form. Effective intervention at 100-250 mg/day for patients with low Hb concentration. Safer option with high compliance evidence vs. traditional iron supplementation.
Iron Homeostasis
Helps maintain iron homeostasis in cellular mechanisms.
Form 2
Iron-depleted for maximum antimicrobial activity and gut health support.
KEY Differentiator
*
Removing iron maximizes bacteriostatic effects by limiting iron availability to microbes
=
Demonstrates antimicrobial activity comparable to bovine-derived lactoferrin in growth-inhibition contexts
Antimicrobial
Promotes growth of beneficial probiotic strains. Shows strong pathogen-specific antimicrobial inhibition.
Anti-Inflammatory
Reduces inflammation and oxidative damage by sequestering free iron.
Immunomodulatory
Helps support and balance the immune system.
